BRIEF HISTORY
The Grade School Sector first opened in 1963 with only one building around the original 5.6 hectare campus before the neighboring
Our Lady of Grace Academy of Caloocan City, a former all-girls school, administered by the RVM sisters, acquired the 2.1 hectare
part of the lot. The High School Sector followed in 1965. From a student population of only 266 students and having only one
building and courses from Kinder 1 to Grade 5, the school now has 10 buildings, the Grade School Main Building, Grade School
Annex, High School Main Building, High School Science and Technology Building, the DMSTC Building for the school's vocational
students, the Gymnasium, High School Canteen, the Kinder School Building, the air-conditioned School Chapel and the Campus
General Services Office.
The school was given its first PAASCU accreditation in 1976 for Grade School and 1979 for High School. It was given level
2, 5-year re-accreditation status since 1996.
GYMNASIUM
It is were you can find the school's modern gymnasium, equipped with the latest sports equipment comparable to that of
Philippines' leading universities.
SCHOOL CHAPEL
The School Chapel is located at the ground floor near the high school sector. It is used when there's a Class Mass and
now also used as a Recollection place.

ACCREDITATIONS
Notre Dame of Greater Manila is a member of the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities(PAASCU) since 1976, and was recently awarded a 5-year re-accreditational status by the said institution, the highest in CAMANAVA area and among the highest in the Philippines.
The school has also been a member of the Notre Dame Educational Association, a group of around 152 Notre Dame Schools in
the Philippines, and the Oblates Educational Association, a group of academic institutions around the world owned and administered
by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate. It is also a member of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) and the Kalookan Diocesan Schools Association (KADSA), an umbrella organization of the Roman Catholic Diocese of
Kalookan.
The school has been notable for being one among the members of the Philippine's largest Inter-school athletics organization's
like the MILO BEST Pasarelle and SBP.
SPECIAL PROGRAMS
- The Grade School's Levamen Program - for gifted students in the fields of Mathematics and Language.
- The High School's Enrichment Program - synonymous with the Levamen program.
- The remedial program - for students with difficulties in Mathematics and Science for both Grade School and High School
Students.
- Grant-In-Aid Program (GIAP) - designed to provide scholarships to deserving students who wishes to enroll in the school
but doesn't have the capacity to pay the yearly tuition fee increase.
- Summer Classes - for those who have failures in the past school year; sometimes done in other schools with close link
to Notre Dame of Greater Manila.
- College Career Orientation - orientations are being given to the 3rd and 4th year students in preparation for college
life. This includes talks from various alumnus of the school as well as the orientation from different colleges and universities
of the Philippines regarding their admission requirements and undergarduate degree programs. Institutions that gives orientations
to the students include, but are not limited to, are the following: De La Salle University-Manila, De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde, University of the Philippines, Ateneo De Manila University, University of Santo Tomas, Far Eastern University, FEU-East Asia College, and several others.
DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION'S RBEC CURRICULUM
Notre Dame of Greater Manila High School Sector currently adopts the Department of Education's Revised Basic Education
Curriculum for its 1st year and 2nd year high school programs. It is expected that the curriculum will be fully implemented
for all levels by SY 2009-2010. Extra-curricular activities are currently offered to the 3rd and 4th Year levels only.

The Notre Dame of Greater Manila (NDGM), a private, sectarian, Catholic high school located in Caloocan City, was originally founded as an all-male school in 1963 by Rev. Fr. William P. Mc Grath, OMI of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate as per request of the Archdiocese of Manila under Archbishop Micheal J. O'Doherty in 1946. Currently, it has approximately 3,000 students from Kinder 1 to Fourth Year High School. Average tuition fee ranges
from PHP 48,000-PHP 65,000 per annum (US$995-US$1,320). Considerably expensive, though its only a Primary and Secondary Learning
Institution.
